Aurora
- Hazel Atlas Glass Company - Depression Glass
Made in the late 1930's this is a glassware that we seldom see, mostly because they made so little of it. You would think that with the rarity of it that prices would have gone through the roof. I have talked to collectors in Baltimore and Los Angels that collect it and it's redeeming quality seems to be the color of cobalt blue and pink and not the overall design.
The design is a simple one - lines going up the glassware with small 1/8" crevices in between. The bottom is clear as well as about 1/2" from the top of the glassware. I only found 1 pink collector in Yelm and only 5 nationwide.
If the widely popular ones are driving you crazy - cost wise - and you enjoy the hunt - then this less ravishing and harder to find glassware may be just up your alley.

If you found this guide helpful in any way please vote postive for it, or it will be deleted. Postive votes tell a writer what the value is of their work. Guides do not maigically appear in a writers mind. I do a lot of research and comparing prices from a book to what is on the open market before listing anything. Please take the seconds needed to vote. Postive votes will bring you more articles on differnt glassware. But if my guide as no relevence than I won't be bothered to bring you any other updates on any more glassware.
If you have a particular piece in mind and can give me the glassware company I would be happy to reseach it for you. Click on my feedback score and when taken to the proper page click on contact me. Let me know your concerns.
