How to know if you have the right cartridge for your Jenn-Air

Whether you are replacing an older Jenn-Air cartridge or need a new one for your new Designer Line Jenn-Air, this simple guide will help you indentify the correct cartridge (Does not pertain to Expression Collection cartridges which have plug-in on the long SIDE of the cartridge).

Look at your existing cartridge and see what your prong configuration is. If you have three flat prongs and one round prong on the short side or end of your cartridge - you would need a cartridge with the same prong configuration - model A100 or newer replacement model JEA7000.

If your existing cartridge has four flat prongs and one round prong you cannot use the more common three flat and one round style. For a replacement you would need to find a decent used or rebuilt cartridge on Ebay that has the same four flat and one round prong configuration.
